your general dental health is our priority.
personalised treatment plans to suit your needs.
scale and clean
Using an ultra-sonic scaler we remove the hard build up that most commonly forms on the back of your lower teeth called Calculus or Tartar. This, if left for long periods of time, can cause gum inflammation and infection and gingivitis.
Dental fillings are used to restore decayed or broken teeth. Materials such as composite, amalgam, glass-ionomer and/or gold fillings are used dependant on what is best suited for you.
crowns and bridges
Dental crowns can be used to cover a broken or decayed tooth when too much of the original tooth is missing to hold a filling. They are also used to protect a weak tooth from breaking, and to cover stained or badly shaped teeth. You might need a dental bridge if you have a missing tooth or teeth and have healthy teeth on either side of the gap left by the missing teeth.
root canal therapy
A root canal treatment can save a badly infected or damaged tooth. The tooth may have become infected or damaged by decay, repeated dental work, cracked fillings or an injury to the tooth. When the dental pulp is damaged, bacteria can start to multiply inside the tooth. This can lead to an infection or abscess, which is a pocket of pus that forms at the end of the tooth’s root.
A tooth extraction may be needed for a number of reasons; severe gum disease, infection in the tooth, broken or crowded teeth or problems with wisdom teeth.
